The Nine is dead. Dead as in Smith, Kidnapped, 3 lbs., Vanished, Runaway and Happy Hour. Dead as in not coming back. While ABC publicity continues to say there is "nothing new" regarding the status of The Nine, MediaVillage has been told the show is over.

]]>ABC has announced that it's pulling The Nine from its schedule starting with the November 29 episode. This is so cruel because the show just returned November 22. This is one of the best shows of the new season. I had all episodes on the HD DVR until I had to send it back for a new one and am missing only episodes 1-3 on the other DVR.

No matter how they tell their story, there's always some pesky commentator comparing The Nine to Lost. It's gotten so bad that people still don't believe the two shows are different even after executive producer Alex Gravesspoke out about the annoying comparison.

Instead, I only want to tell you that it makes me say "gimme, gimme, gimme" despite my lukewarm feelings about its website.
