Please bring back Dead Like Me!!!! It was brilliant and engaging. It was so much more enjoyable than the Sopranos or anything on broadcast TV, with the exeption of Curb Your Enthusiasm. I have both seasons on DVD and wish that there were three times as many to purchase. I LOVE the show!!!!

I was at the libary in my area when I decided to ask for a check out season One of Dead Like Me on DVD. I loved it so much I wanted to watch the other seasons. It was upsetting to learn there were only two seasons avaible? What happened to Georgia? her sister? Did The british guy fall for the blonde girl? What happened to Rube? You have to at least have a wrapup. These characters are now in a "writers limbo" for ever.

Dead Like Me...What an incredible show. One of the most original, thought provoking, beautifully casted with great writing, and funny shows I have ever had the priviledge to watch. Or was, until it was cancelled. I have both seasons on DVD and have watched them more times than I can count. I have also introduced several of my friends to the show. I don't know what the execs at Showtime were thinking when they decided to cancel it. Apparently if it isn't about the mafia, war, sex, government/politics, or "reality" then it isn't worthy to be on TV. The show has been nominated for 2 Emmys and about 6 other awards, c'mon people! Just like Firefly these so-called experts/execs think that if the show doesn't blow every other show out of the water that they need to get rid of it. Then they are too afraid to admit their mistake after the true fans show their outrage. Suck it up and correct your mistake! Granted it is 2-3 years after the show was cancelled, but WHO CARES?!

Dead Like Me...the best writing and group of actors on a show since ...gosh, I don't know when! What an original concept and what a fantastic creative way to lampoon modern life. I am so sad this great show is gone. What will it take to bring it back? I don't watch much TV anymore because of the cookie cutter shows and actors. Dead Like Me did not deserve to be taken away...

I have been wondering why I haven't been seeing Dead Like Me on Sci-Fi lately. I just now found out it has been cancelled. That show rocked! My husband and I looked forward every week to watching it. We are in our late 20-early 30's. Please bring the show back!!!

Showtime has reaped my reason to watch television! I was just becoming interested in the program, watching it on HDTV network. I do not get Showtime. I looked online to find out which network aired the series and found it was cancelled by SHOWTIME! If they do not bring it back I know I will never order Showtime. They could have had a new customer! I love it and will be forced to buy the DVD's with the lingering thought of never seeing a "new" episode.

Just found series on DVD at the movie rental: 'Dead Like Me'. My wife and I love it. Waiting for next season with anticipation! Going to start watching it regular. Two or three weeks later, find series cancelled. Just as DVDs find greater audience for show, network execs cancel it. Just as 'Criminal Minds' starts taking off, giving Mandy a following that would eventually try 'Dead Like Me'. Short sighted execs cancel it. Short sighted execs should be reaped.

I just wanted to add my support of having a third season of Dead Like Me. This show was original, funny and had a fantastic cast. It was just getting started in my eyes and it so much better than SO many of the shows on air today, what the hell is going on?

Damn you Showtime. Damn you.

WHERE IS DEAD LIKE ME???????????
What a delightful, funny and unique show!
My husband and I as well as friends all love the show. We look forward to watching it every week. What's going on? In case it interests you, we are not kids (40 bracket). Please BRING IT BACK!!!!!!
Also, we love your show Ghost Whisperer, however was absolutely incredulous that you killed off the character Andrea! What were you thinking? She and the character Melinda worked so well together. We still love the show but wish that somehow you could bring her back!
We LOVE Lost and House. Please don't do anything to screw that up!
Dissapointed and grateful,
Becky and Corey Spagnolo

I am in tears... After eagerly awaiting the third series of Dead like me for some time now i got fed up with waiting and searched for some info. And what do i get to read? the show has been canceled!
Why!? And more terrible is that i can't do anything about it.
Fans gathered to try and save the show and i weren't able to help cuz i didn't know...
Sweden is one slow country and i had no chance of knowing. I can only imagine the number of people that are in the same situation.

I just wanted the world to know that a very unique show has been shoved down in it's grave and i hate all those responsible for it.
Life will be a lot more dull without Dead like me...

I did not subcribe to Showtime and did not see the show Dead Like Me in first run, but since the sci-fi channel and the HDnet channel now show these episodes I wonder what the hell they were thinking by pulling the show.
This was probablly the best show in production in many years. Now that these stupid ass reality shows and CSI type shows are finally running out someone should highly consider putting Dead Like Me back into production!!!

What was Showtime thinking when it canceled this awsome show. This was waaaay different from all the other boring cable shows that are churned out daily. If Showtime isn't willing to pick it up, I hope some other network will. I'm willing to wager that it will take off once it airs again. Showtime will be left with egg on their faces. Heres a little tip Showtime, Stop the endless swill you shell out now. Your not HBO. At least HBO had Six Feet Under and it lasted six or seven seasons.

Hi I'm 18-male and loved the show of Dead Like Me, I don't have Showtime to watch DLM but once I bought the first season it was amazing. Throughout the time of watching Georgia go from being no one to helping the world in this dramatic, and funny comedy was outstanding. I then bought season two and it was thrilling, and exciting to find out whats going to come next. Now I have decided to get Showtime because me and my family loved to watch the show and now there is not going to be another season??? Why not, you see all these peoples comments and how they want the show to go on, why stop it?? The show has caught the eyes of me and other teens and their families and brought them together. You don't see people getting together and watching COPS or Will&Grace now do you?? No you don't. This show has made it fun and enjoyable to watch something that could really make sense. From the begining of season one I myself have told dozens of people about the show and they like it too. Th!
en those people have told people and it goes on and on and it shows the people like to see the show and they WANT MORE. There are plenty of shows that are out there that can not come to what has been made of Dead Like Me, so please reconsider the fact of not making another because I can't wait till it comes out. Thank You.

I found the first season of Dead Like Me on dvd. I don't have cable. I just saw the series, read about it, and was hooked! I picked up season 2 when it came out, as well. I have been waiting to see when season 3 would be coming out. I have now found out that showtime execs have their heads too far up their arses to know what a GOOD show truly is. The simplest thing for everyone to do? DUMP showtime! Boycott them, never watch them again! At least until its people are fired and Dead Like Me is brought back in all its glory. Get people that actually LISTEN to viewers that appreciate a show. Get people that don't have their heads up their arses for the dumbed-down side of the american public. Bring the show back! Dead Like Me is one of the greatest shows ever produced!

P.S. As I said on my last statement, I don't have cable, satelite, dish or such. I DO buy dvds. I was looking forward(along with MANY others) to BUYING the next season of Dead Like Me. Showtime apparently doesn't care for sales

DEAD LIKE ME must return.

It is great TV. Deep, thought provoking, a real look at life :)

Please consider bringing this show back.

I have already written to Showtime about a year ago about the cancelation Of Dead Like Me. However I just found out that there have been some rumors floating around that they might bring it back. :) I do have my doubts considering that it was canceled over a year ago and I doubt they can still get the same cast, but if it's at all possible i would be completely exstatic!!! I have already almost written off HBO b/c they butchered the last season of Sopranos and then they cancelled Lucky Louie. Showtime has really been putting out some really good shows lately, like Weeds and Dexter. I hope they make the right choice and try to bring back DLM. If anyone has heard anything concrete about this please let me know.

I've recently gotten hooked on the reruns of Dead Like Me on Sci Fi and was disappointed to see online tonight that this was a cancelled show by Showtime a few years ago. What a shame that the execs at Showtime would cancel such a quality show! The actors and level of acting is GREAT and it figures that they would not see this and cancel it instead. And to leave their viewers hanging? Shame on them! Now their main star has moved on to something else - they missed the mark on this. It might have been the one show that would have pulled me into Showtime's original programming. Now? Might just stick with HBO!

Sci-Fi channel started airing "Dead Like Me" a couple months ago, and I thoroughly enjoy it. It's the most unique show that's come around in a long time. Now, I go online to find out some more information on the show and learn that it was canceled after only 2 seasons!?! WHY? This show appeals to an extremely large age range and is a clean family show with an awesome cast and intriguing plots.

The show "Dead Like Me" was the reason I watched TV. To be honest, it's the one story that got me out into the world trying to live my life again. I am about the lead character's age and have a very similar p.o.v. I know this show means a lot to people like us. Makes us feel like we aren't alone and that we have a voice. Not to escape the fact that the idea and creativity of the show is f-ing brilliant! Yes, there are other good shows on Showtime, but Dead Like Me was the winning flavor! Please bring it back. PLEASE!!!!!!!

SoundOff From Jennifer Black

I have recently started watching Dead Like Me on SciFi. Although I had never seen it on Showtime I had always heard good reviews about the show. I went online to get more information on the show such as how long it has been on and when new episodes air. I was extremely dissapointed to learn that Showtime had stopped production on the show after only 2 seasons. I read an article saying that Showtime executives felt the show didn't have enough traction going into the next season. Well I know the show has gained atleast 1 ardent new fan and I'm sure that there are many more people out there who have just came to the show through scifi and may have considered ordering showtime to receive new episodes. There are no other shows right now that I would even consider ordering showtime for. I believe showtime should reconsider their cancellation of Dead Like Me and consider the amount of fans that this show already has and could develop in the future between airing previous episodes on SciFi and some good marketing. Who knows, if I ordered Showtime to watch Dead Like Me I may find other programs that I feel are worth my time and money but as it is right now I will never know. Please reconsider production on Dead Like Me.
Sincerely,

Jennifer Black

A late but heartfelt lamentation about the loss of Dead Like Me! As someone mention, it appealed to a wide range of age groups and I am sure was difficult to track what demo to go for!

Another also said that it was not promoted. How tru. Someone holding the reins at Showtime must have had an agenda here. There is nothing bad I could possibly say about the show, and no one (in all age groups and religious backgrounds) that I talked into seeing the program (since no-one had a clue what it was or where or when because Showtime decided not to make anyone aware of it!) had a bad word about it.. they all Loved it in fact.

We pay for Showtime, and we pay for cable. We should be able to watch what we like without someone complaining it is "niche" programming...duh... most of the cable stations are just that! I don't watch a lot of programs because I don't like them. They are well promoted programs and that gives them a leg up on DLM and probably other shows that I have not heard about because ... well someone decided not to tell anyone about them. I paid to watch Showtime and DLM was one reason why I chose to pay them. Those who do not like it probably pay for othres on Showtime that they do like. DUH.. again I am at a loss as to why DLM has not resurfaced on another premium or just basic cable program. SIGH

I really liked Dead Like Me, I even got my best friend watching the show. It was one of the only shows on TV, that was not out of a cookie cutter image. It was different and every episode was exciting to watch because you never knew what was going to happen. I fell in love with DLM in the first season. I never expected for it to get better, yet the second season managed to do just that. I suggest that the show is brought back and soon. There are obviously enough fans out there that are willing to watch the show, so why on earth would someone cancel it and then not even say why. It better be a good reason!! I'm glad i found this website because I am royaly unhappy with whoever canceled the show. I truelly hope another station would pick this show up because there fans would be eternally grateful. For the person that canceled it I hope you break your leg or something equally unpleasant happens to you.

I ADORE "Dead Like Me". It's hilarious, refreshing and the perfect show to, not only help unwind at the end of a stressful day, but also helps put things in perspective (in an albeit rather comical manner). Everytime I get someone hooked on the show, I have to pass on the depressing news that it's cancelled. Please stop upsetting the viewers. Bring Back Georgia!

I am very disappointed to hear that "Dead Like Me" was cancelled so abruptly! These Showtime Executives need to get slapped with a splintered ruler. DLM was an excellent show that made the audience really think aboutlife and also made us think before we took anybody or anything for granted. It opened up a lot of things for me and made me question things that I never realized before. For one thing I'm glad my cable bill came so large that I had to cancel cable along with Showtime! Showtime was a really lame channel in exception to Dead Like Me. In any case I find basic cable to be more entertaining. I'll just stick to my favortie stations like TNT, USA, Discovery channel and The Learning Channel. Life goes on after Showtime...

Dead Like Me fans and several fully costumed Grim Reapers will be gathering Monday, October 31st, at 11 AM outside Showtime offices at 1633 Broadway (50th Street) to join a protest sponsored by TV fansite MediaVillage.com urging the pay network to complete the two-season series with a final wrap-up movie and to encourage Sony Pictures Television and another TV network to consider picking up the series. The growing popularity of the series, which starred Mandy Patinkin, is another testament to the impact of DVD sales and the influence of global markets for U.S. television.

Dead Like Me Creator Bryan Fuller Speaks Out on Showtime, MGM and the Future

by Jack Myers

In an exclusive interview with MediaVillage.com, the creator of the cancelled Showtime series Dead Like Me asks his fans to forgive Showtime for the show's untimely demise after only two seasons. "The Showtime people could not have been sweeter to me," commented executive producer and writer Bryan Fuller. "They were very respectful, but it was very much a traumatic experience dealing with the MGM-TV Studio people. Showtime was feeling the frustration as well. They weren't satisfied with the storytelling on the show, and we were all frustrated with MGM. When Showtime cancelled the series, it was actually a bit of a relief."
