John Stamos Joins ER

John Stamos was set to join ER last fall, but then ABC pulled him back for his series, Jake in Progress. That series was brought back for the mid-season, but ABC canceled it after only one episode. Well, this year John Stamos is all in the clear to join ER as a regular cast member.

During last year's November sweeps, we saw Stamos make a guest appearance as a paramedic that started a bit of a spark with Neela. Now Neela is a free woman, and Ray has his eye on her. Could we see sparks fly when Stamos returns in his role this fall? ER returns to NBC on September 21st?

The series' season will be divided into two straight ones, twelve episodes in the fall and the remaining episodes set to air in the Spring.
